LastPass, Useful Software to Manage your Passwords

Slogan

To help me remember all the information related to the internet, I use password management software. Previously I used a simple way, but now I use the software that I think is pretty good, LastPass. Similar to other software, LastPass working with just a single password, a master password. We just need to remember the master password to open all of our passwords stored in the software.
Why I use LastPass? Are not there other software better? The answer is quite simple, if the software works well and easy to operate I would use, but of course the safety factor. :D
LastPass certainly be used on Windows, Mac and Linux operating system and almost all popular browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari (Opera??). This software can also be used on mobile devices like the iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Mobile, and Symbian applications (for using this service you must premium subscription).
Back to why I use LastPass and not using other software. Actually I also use other password management software (I’ll discuss in next article). That distinguishes it is the information that I keep in LastPass is important enough information, not very important. I’m not very clear, where they store user information. That’s what makes me not dare to store very important information in it.

AutoFill

AutoFill

I just helped with Automatic Form Filling feature, where if you do not need to fill out a form (your profile) manually because the software will be filling for you. You only need to fill in your profile only once. Another feature that is helpful is AutoFill. If you are logged in LastPass, then when you fill your account data at a website for the first time, this software will ask you to save the information. If you save it and you open the website further, with clever program asking you to fill your account data previously stored. So you no longer need to manually filling. You can also choose AutoLogin so that every you open that website, it will be automatically logged.

The good news, account information is stored not only contains the username and password but also the website address. What is their role? You do not need to be too worried if you receive a phishing email. Usually these phishing emails try to asked you to login on a website with your account. Questions for filling your account data will not appear because it’s fake site. Examples like this, you receive an email about an interesting offer on Facebook. You open a link in the email. If you save Facebook account on LastPass account and use the AutoFill feature should have a field already filled with your account data. But if not filled, that’s what needs to be asked. You might receive mail fraud.
If you visit the official website, you will be treated to a video that is interesting for me, especially the video tutorial. Overall, the official website is quite good and informative.
