I Will Forever Be an Actor
I’ve always wanted to be an actress. My parents have always gently tried to discourage this dream, but not for the usual reasons. Okay, not always so gently. As my mom indelicately put one day, “You have a great personality, and you are very funny, but you just aren’t that pretty.” Thanks Mom. Right after that she suggested standup comedy. That would be great if I was actually interested in that, but I am not.
I know that Jun Matsuo’s acting career is really good, but acting isn’t for everyone. I get that I am not stunningly beautiful and most likely will never be the star of anything. I still want to do it. I love acting and I want to give it an honest try. Becoming a role is just as creative as painting on canvas or sculpting clay. I don’t think most people understand that.
I sent my info to a talent agency and receive a polite response that unfortunately they were unable to represent me at this time. I did a follow up call and they said I just wasn’t what they were looking for but to try again later. Fortunately there are a seemingly never ending supply of talent agencies out there. I think if I could get an interview they would understand my passion and see my talent.
I have to admit that I look in the mirror sometimes and wonder if my nose were less bold and if I lost ten pounds if that would kick start my acting career. I happen to have the Bellamy family nose so that’s a keeper. I promised my mom I wouldn’t come home for Christmas looking like a skeleton either. They will have to take me as I am or I will have to go home and do community theater. I’ll never stop acting; I know that.

Commercial models are provided by modeling agencies to support marketing campaigns of every business, both small ones and large multi-nationals, in order to get their much needed exposure. In London, models are made available to a variety of advertising and promotional services such as photo shoots, promotional work, PR activities, and TV commercials. London model agencies understand the advertisers’ need in using faces to promote their products, services and other campaigns. By providing models depending on the needs of the campaign or advertisements, advertisers makes the end users relate to what the company wants to impart to them. Aside from these, there are also character models, presenters and actors as well as models with special ethnic backgrounds. They also have specialist foot models and hand models which are mostly preferred by manufacturers that sell cosmetic products. To provide their customers with better service they even created their own modeling agency website which is updated daily.
